Automatic refresh when buying protection
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › Automatic refresh when buying protection-
Yeah when I buy protection for each of my city's it doesn't automatically refresh when I pay, so sometimes if I get distracted I end up paying twice for one city, I've never seen this suggested but I'm sure others must get annoyed by it!

This is why I just pay via dp. I don't have the patience or concentration! haha its ok if u got the money! lol, i used to do that, but stopped, wouldnt pay dp for it now though

I've wondered if it actually subtracts the $ from your account a second time. I've never actually checked. I think a "buy all" (for all the cities you currently owe on) would be awesome!

A buy all would be great! I mean I'm complaining about like 10-15 different areas their are people with probably like 50! Lol! Well my protection ends tomorrow morning so I might see if it does take the money twice

A buy all would be great. But even an auto refresh would be awesome.

I just done my protection renewal and counted the areas I'd have to manually pay. Over 100 forget that lol. Buy all would be nice but it makes dp protection obsolete so hmm.

Just tested it, I paid for protection 5 times on one area just to see if theirs atleast a cut off, and went from 72mil to 53, not good nick! I van see the logic in using dp points when u have a whole load of areas to pay for, but for new players or players who have a low turf limit it can be a major annoyance to lose money, it doesn't even carry over u still only get a week protection if u pay twice

No it doesn't make dp protection obsolete. If you pay for protection you still get busted on missions whereas dp protection stops that.I just done my protection renewal and counted the areas I'd have to manually pay. Over 100 forget that lol. That's bad. However as a temporary fix do a block purchase of say 5 then go back to the missions screen and it will refresh what areas you have paid for stopping double purchase. Not a fix I know but best there is at the moment.Just tested it, I paid for protection 5 times on one area just to see if theirs atleast a cut off, and went from 72mil to 53, not good nick! Yeah that's what I do random, but it does make me wonder how much people have spent accidently cos of this error, and it is an error/bug in the game as it has no positives to not refreshing so can't be intentional

I've done it loads because I have the memory of a goldfish. I do like the idea btw as new players will not necessarily know this. I've also come across it not registering that you purchased some in an area after you refresh back in. Though not as common.

I know what u mean I have issues with my Short term memory so things like this can be a bugger! Hopefully nick will fix this :D I'm surprised I've never really seen another post about this beforeI've done it loads because I have the memory of a goldfish. This is what I've always done. My cities are rarely in sync though, so it makes it easier to keep track of what I've paid for. I actually just did global protection for the first time to get them all in sync.Pyroarcher wrote:

1600 cities, so I'd still have 500 to do, I pay with dp.
