Sending Medkits and Espresso Shots to Players in your V
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › Sending Medkits and Espresso Shots to Players in your V-
Not sure if this has been suggested before, but you should have the ability to send at least one espresso and/or medkit per day to one or more people in your vendetta. That way you can cover more ground or just be able to defend yourself. No this does not detract from the strategy of a vendetta, if anything it gives you an extra advantage while the opposing side must find more resources to counteract. This could end up backfiring, so feel free to insult me and call me stupid, I'm tired and this sounded like a good idea.

It has been suggested. I'm for the idea provided it has a daily usage limit per member, per day. 1 of either loot per day would be enough. Too much would unbalance Vs.
-
Itakes the vendetta too powerful. And yes it does tale away from strategy by making it way too easy.

This idea could be useful when you're the only one awake at 3am and your entire V just got a pair of shoes.. I say make it health only, so it can just be used for defense. This still makes attacks a group effort. Good idea. 👍

But then how is anyone supposed to ever break the defense of the v? You have to run them out of medkits? Most players have hundreds of those.Mr. Empire 🔨🔥💀 wrote:

B's right. The way V's are now, at least half the time it's a matter of who can stay awake the longest. The game is already slanted towards defense. Requiring only 1 person to stay awake to defend for the entire V would be extremely unbalanced.

Since this was recently suggested again, I thought I'd bring back one of the threads where it was discussed before.
In one of the other threads, someone mentioned mule accounts being an issue. I'm also adding Bella's opinion:

Nah, I considered this when the stamina in a v rule was updated, but I've been in 3-6 vendettas since then and we've done fine. Use pal, incorporate some organization, planning & strategy & you'll do alright.
Being able to heal your teammates is 0% strategic. Too easy, Mav.

The game's changed a lot in 2 years. Now, there are airports for example... I am still asking for concrete reasons why/how this causes a problem and no one has said anything except 'this was suggested before.'
Tell me how this idea would impact the game more than the introduction of Brens. I'd really like to know your thoughts. Real thoughts on how this would cause a negative impact.
Also, I've still not heard back from support on why my thread doesn't appear for most players, including me. I can see it in game but not on the web.

The same reasons for why this was a bad idea 2 years ago still exist:
1) It would make it extremely difficult to ever break a V.
2) It takes away from strategy & coordination.
3) If people want to protect their turf or help to protect others' turf, then they need to be on to heal. You shouldn't just be able to rely on someone else so that you can sleep or whatever. -

This is not some infinite power. It's a loot item. It would be treasured, used sparingly and is finite.

If a strong defensive v was set up and someone could heal another player how would you break through if two 70k+ mobs were in a v?
Disagree on it being a loot item too as players who spend more will loot loads anyhow (see brens) at the moment time zones, searching daily, etc are a major part and this would take some of it away........

Another thing is vendettas could them be used as black markets

How so? You break a V by commitment to the game. But RL and timezones are real things. Not having this option only punishes people who have to live elsewhere iRL.

Exactly. If they weren't real things, you'd never break a V. If one person could sit & heal for the V, or even 2 people in the V, it would make capping quite tough. IMO you shouldn't be able to "gain access" to another player's mob if they aren't on the game.
-
Why? It'd be a rare loot item. It's not like you can sit and do this forever... You'd need to decide when it's most worth it.

Yeah, rare like brens. It's not like a player would spend enough money to loot over 23,000 brens in 1 week. 😏Why? It'd be a rare loot item. It's not like you can sit and do this forever... You'd need to decide when it's most worth it.

When has there ever been a loot week where you could get that many Brens in a week? Believe 7k is the limit says the padawan to the jedi.

That was Devs underestimating what players would spend. When you have in-game purchasing, you must consider the effects prior to implementing massive weapons and someone who shall remain nameless ran away with unfair advantage for a time... Now we have multiple players with 20k+ brens (Kk) But I digress; I still don't see any negative with my suggestion. I'd like to know concretely what is the downside to this. Can you provide an example of how you see this negatively impacting the game? So what if a big spender hoards remote heal items? ***Also*** - it's important to point out that since my original thread was buried and then replaced with this thread, I *never* suggested remote stam. What I suggested was a new loot item - a "mob doc" - that is like a med kit but "giveable" to another player. ONLY giveable. Can't use it on yourself, and it doesn't involve stam. I agree that giveable stam could cause an issue 100%. But health?
-
One big guy that's in a V could heal his turf, use the loot, & horse head the smaller player that often has less stam & may not spend as much on refills.
I have repeatedly said the downside is not being able to break a V.
It goes against the entire spirit of vendettas, which is having 2 or more players coordinate.
-
Heal whose turf? Big guys don't need this. This for small to medium guys to keep interest in the game. I am sorry if I am stupid but I don't see how this breaks a V. And again... I am not talking about stam. Please explain with more detail because what you have been saying is vague.
-
Anyone that's in a V & the target of a V could use them. Here's 1 example:
-
Picture a war. Vendetta Turf has a V with 4 players in it, targeting vendetta War, which has 4 players in it. Vendetta War is is down (everyone's in the ER & 3 players are asleep). 2 players from vendetta Turf (Henry & Mike) notice & decide to cap 1 player from vendetta War (call him Moe). Only Henry is in range to cap.
Moe is awake. As the turf attacks start, he heals his turf. He uses the new loot to heal another V member & sends horse heads to Henry. Moe has a stash of the new loot & continues to heal his turf as well as another player in his V. Eventually Henry gives up having capped few to no turf.
Under normal circumstances, Moe would have likely lost a lot more turf because he couldn't heal another player. The exact sizes of the mobs don't matter - all that matters is that Henry & Mike could have capped Moe if his other 3 V members were in the ER. But because he healed one of them, vendetta Turf couldn't break Moe's V.
