What I'm proposing is to do something that would give others that put just as much hard work in the game some sort of fighting chance. And that won't happen b/c people will continuosly stop playing for long periods of time or never come back while at the same time, new recruits are joining.

I disagree too. What about those who go on hiatus & come back? If they take a month or so off & come back, they shouldn't have to restart. Plus, the inactive turfs make good sacrifices, they populate the area giving you higher income, & you can collect protection money off them without pissing someone off.

My first twenty caps were off an inactive player. Without those turfs I'm not sure I wouldve ever grown to any great degree. Thank you Don boner!

Hey, turf wars could always go the route of all the other mob or mafia games and make a bunch of bots. I always thought that was kinda lame though.

i think if you havent played for over a month : you dont count towards anyones mob, your turfs can be attacked or taken (while as long as they are up make you cash) and you cannot be attacked (on vacation, perhaps?). when your vaca is over you resume playing like normal, you count for the same mob relations and maybe you lost all your turf 🎓❇

I think we hv been to focus on the mob no thing ... If we are careful enough we hv been dancing with this problem for too long .., thats why i suggest the win/lost of a fight shpuld be relative to other factor.., we are playing turf wars not invitation wars !!!!!

Even though my mob is over 2,100 I think it's a little unfair that the veterans are always gonna be about 500 ahead of everyone. However when I first became capo of my neighborhood/town those inactive turfs helped me a little.
Idk what could be done about this, it's not fair to those who just drop in from time to time to just delete their account (however those who are gone for months and months it's safe to say they aren't coming back).
How about temporarily suspending their account but leaving their turfs, mark them as N/A and make them uncapturable for the first couple of months. Make the person unable to find (mark them as N/A) and they'll be unattackable too.

^^^I think that'd benefit the inactive player, freeze their income & upkeep so they don't come back with a super surplus or a super deficit.
Maybe temporarily "lock" their account after 2-3 weeks of inactivity.

I think the problem as i hv been saying how strong u are are purely determined by how many mobs u hv...
