I reckon it can add some flavour to the game if players can post a short message (160 character limit?) that appears at the very top of their profile.

As it is, the first thing you see when you click on someone's in game profile is either a long list of "capo of" followed by a rather cold and impersonal list of stats. Right now, the only functionality close to this is the comments section, which is a further click away and usually full of invite codes posted by others.

Undoubtedly the more utilitarian individuals would just put their invite codes there, but I think it would be an interesting way to be able to see at a glance what sort of person the mobster is like. Thoughts?

Maybe under 50 char or something. Just a couple facts they want posted. I don't wan't anyones life story. They can go to the wiki to post that.

They probally still won't let you post on wiki about there life story, it would be a waste of valuable space.
