Henchmen Cost
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › Henchmen Cost-
Henchmen should cost less than 15 DP. Back in the day the cost was about right, but as mobs have grown to 20k + the relative value of one mob member has decreased. This should be reflected in the price. It's not worth buying any at the current price with the huge mobs today. I reckon the devs would make a mint.

Nope the cost is fine. All lowering would do is cause the mobs to sky rocket way faster and you'd bw right where you started

Because its not going to solve anything. Those that buy Hench will just buy more. Thosethat are ahead will just get further ahead. Amd this will hurt badly players that can't afford bonuses. Now would you be so kind as to name a plus side?🔥GOD of WAR🔥 wrote:

The devs would make more money and I could buy a couple of thousand at a more reasonable price.

Hench cost is meant to be a detterent. You're meant to work for your mob.

👆👆. Henchmen were intended to break a stalemate. You and a rival had punched all the codes and everyone in the world was in your mob. How do you fight? You buy henchies. At the top rung this game is just an arms race. Henchies were supposed to break that but unfortunately people just bought them anyway.Hench cost is meant to be a detterent. You're meant to work for your mob.
Seriously. Just mob up. Spend the money on beer and women.

I think nick is doing pretty well. I think the decrease in players would over ride any income increase on nicks part. If you want henchmen buy them. I got 60 today. Dint see what's stopping you.The devs would make more money and I could buy a couple of thousand at a more reasonable price.

If anything, I think they should cost more, but I don't care enough to write a thread about it.

I could buy 1000 but it would make little difference when I'm against 20k + mob. That's whats stopping me which was my original point. 1000 henchmen 12 months ago would have made a huge difference which is why the price should be lower today. And the devs make more money. Everyones a winner.

What about the people that don't want to spend any money, How are they a winner?🔥GOD of WAR🔥 wrote:

Because those that do spend money are funding the game for those who don't.

And what do you think would happen to those 20k mobs if the price went down? They would buy more as well and since you can have 75% of your real mob as henchies you would have an even bigger gap.🔥GOD of WAR🔥 wrote:

In the not to distant future mobs will be hitting 40k. How man hench will the devs sell then at the current price? I wonder what the % of income is from henchmen and how it's changed as mobs have grown.
Maybe we need a price tier, the larger your mob the more expensive they cost.
-
I thought that there could be a tier system for hench but I think rather than size they should be cheaper for a player with a later start date as that would benefit newer players. So say break it down into quarters those who start now pay least etc.

0-5k. 5points
5-10k. 10points
10-15k 15points
15-20k. 20points
20-25k 25points and so on as the mobs grow. The smaller guys have a cheaper leg up If they want it, big guys will be mostly priced out of buying anymore and the devs make a shit load of profit from the henchmen flying off the shelf. Everyones a winner, even those that don't spend as they continue to get a great game for free.

This wouldn't work although it would benefit me. Many older players only henched up due to newer players doing it and so it would unfairly skew the advantage to newer players by too too much.I thought that there could be a tier system for hench but I think rather than size they should be cheaper for a player with a later start date as that would benefit newer players. I don't like it. You would be creating a game only based on how many henchmen you can afford. At that point change the name to cash wars0-5k. 5points

If the only losers are the big guys then they'll deal with it.And what makes you think people who want to purchase hm are lazy? Some people don't have any free time, jobs , family's etc. Sounds like your too involved with the game, get a life, get a grip and remove your blinkers.

Amd if the stalemate becomes worse it's the lower players that suffer. Currently I tend to go after top mob listers. If I can no longer do that then I'll he bottom feeding. Making the whole game suffer because smaller players quit because they cant grow.

It's a suggestions and feedback forum you dim wit, or can only the might god of war make suggestions?
-
It's an open forum. This is here for us to discuss these suggestions. You tell me I'm getting too personal about this game and yet you're the one throwing out insults
-
Yet if there's a suggestion you don't agree with you say ' what gives you the right' , and lazy was a compliment was it?
-
I still vote for a "draft" loot item that accepts a percentage of your unaccepted invites.
It still offers the fairest way to give newer players who punch the ability to close the gap with the vets.
-
Swagger - not a bad idea, but I'd be concerned that big Spenders would still benefit with energy refills.
-
Hence the percentage in the idea. The more you use them, the less mob you get!
