I thought when your turf was attacked you could select the turf and then select map and it would take you straight to the location on the map.

Read the op again. She said capped turfs & when they were destroyed (in a vendetta or because they player tore them down).

Ditto! But would still be useful to know especially on capped turfs without my naming scheme

In addition to this change there should also be a consolidation of like news after the first hour. For example:

4 hours ago: blank attacked you 9 times and lost total of 132 health. You lost a total of $245.7k and won a total of $32.9k

Same thing can be done for turf attacks too. This would allow for more historical news to be seen.
