So after starting my turf capturing binge I discovered, atleast from a "fair game play" stance who the 30% mob/RPG figure really hurts.
Smaller players. Here's why. If I could I'd love to fight and cap players closer to my mob size/level, but due to this 30% issue I can't. To capture a turf I'm forced to find someone that has a 30-40% smaller mob. That's not even sport.
Example (which can be seen in my vent thread) I have a +2700mob all with RPG's, I can't reliably win vs. someone with even a 2000mob with miniguns. So what do I do? Start sluming for anyone below the 2K mark.
What are other players thoughts on this?

Tom, I am personally in complete agreement with you on this matter and in your previous post about a new body armor (as well as in my other posts around the forum).
Even though I don't have the gargantuan mob that you do, I still see the effects of the 30% rule firsthand. I have 15 stamina, and I generally pick on two or three players with mobs as low as 50 in my area just so that I know I can win.
It's not really fair, but it's the way if the game right now...perhaps if those attack/defense points accounted for more then things would get less big fish eat tiny fish...

I agree here. Game is viciously unbalanced. Something must be done to add a new offensive element like a factory turf or even just a new armor.

Agreed or an atk item with no defense or negative defense

Maybe if the amount of health you stole from a smaller player was also reduced down to zero... The. At least they wouldn't have to keep paying to up thier health...

I agree, though it would open me up to tons of attackers, that there needs to be a balance.
What if you just had to choose between your XM or RPG. If you have a mob of 1000, and you can only OWN 1 weapon/armor per mobster, you are forced to choose between higher att, or higher def. You don't get both.
A new armor and weapon would still be good to add to this.

So, yeah. A new weapon and or armor is ALSO needed. With a mob of 1000(and only being able to own 1K weapons, and 1K armor) your att will be between 20K-24K, and def between 29K-31K(based on XM and/or RPG only, and your 1K armor).
So, I think this is all bringing me around to Tom's original post about this, which I think was something about a stronger weapon, with a looooow def..
IMO I think that the "Max Item" rule is equally(if not more) important. If you need a shank for misions, there goes one of your RPG slots.
