A simple item that would reduce weapon upkeep by a certain percentage ( maybe 25-50%) for a period of time (24 hours). Any thoughts? I think it could help in every situation.

Yea sounds ok. But not the most interesting or really that useful if it isn't a permanent thing.

Yup, if it lasted for, say, 7 days, then it can be extremely useful for a situation in which you get in war or a vendetta.
