I think that a person who creates a thread can have the power to delete unwanted responses that could potentionally start a (verbal/text?) fight.

In theory good. But you could get a scenario where, for example, T Bock started a thread soliciting questions for him to answer. Then deleting any posts about how his answers are A load of rubbish, and not witty retorts. For example.

If you start banning people from threads, then you'll end up with threads just to talk crap about a person. Since that person couldn't defend themselves, they would start a second thread just for that. Ugh!
