What if they increased your odds of winning? So if you are attacking someone that is normally a fairly close fight, some win some loss, it will increase you chances of having a successful attack. Same for defense.

As they are now, they do increase your chance of winning a fight.

What I'm talking about is if you have 60k attack and they have 60k defense you have a 50% chance of winning each fight. Well with 100 points in attack it's now 60% chance of winning the fight unless they have 100 points in defense which would bring it back to 50%. -
You could donsomething like
((mobsize)x(attack))x((attack points)x(some type of chance*random))=total attack

doesnt the ammo already give you an increase? i think att/def are a waste. and should be removed from the game and the skill points given back to the player to be used elsewhere. att/def rating should be mob/weapons/armor only. it's rare that i'm fighting someone exactly my size. most are considerably bigger or smaller and the 10% would do no good. just like the ammo that is hardly ever used. if we are equal then i'm ok with the 50/50 win/loss ratio.

You can't put skill points on turf. I would rather increase the number of attacks I can do or my energy for doing missions. Even if the odds are 90-10 in their favor, if I want to cap them I will. And if it's something bigger than that most of the time it involves more than one person and a V is formed. Get rid of the att/def and let us redistribute the Skill points in more useful areas.
