wow o m g you are so awesome are you oh nevermind.Maybe have a screen where you can choose to assign your mob members to be "fighters" or "earners"... Earners can't use weapons but they help make you more money. Ex if you have 1000 mob and you need to boost your income for a while you could go to that screen and do like 800 fighters, 200 earners. Now you are not as strong in fights but you will get a significant increase in earnings until you switch them back.

Dude greatest idea ever!

There is absolutely no reason to bump this as often as you do. If it's a legitimate enough idea people would have posted instead of you bumping it all the time.
Thanks.

I bump because it's a good idea that could solve a lot of the problems on this game. Even Nick has said it was an interesting idea. So I think it approapriate to bump so others can see it and hopefully agree with it. That way there is a chance of it actually happening. There is absolutely no reason to bump this as often as you do. However, I agree with him on principle. :)

For the record, I place a signature at the end of my posts because I give a damn about the things I write, not about who reads them. Plus it differentiates me from the rest of the mindless posters we encounter daily here. Some of us put extra thought into every word we write...note that I'm not pointing fingers here.

As for the actual topic of this thread, it's a decent change to the game, but I tend to agree with Rhino here. The big mobs have no problem funding their mobs, and extra income for little players isn't going to get them more mob players anytime soon.
It may, however, affect the players in the mid-range with respect to mob size. It would also introduce a sense of risk in attacking someone in that you'd have no idea how many of their mob was income or defense-related. As it stands right now, you can predict with a 99% certainty whether or not you will win a fight. This should be changed.
Overall it's an okay idea, but not quite too feasible. Further, it wouldn't do what it's intended to do well enough to make up for the difficulty in implementation.

I would personally rather have a player choose a distribution between attacking/defending mob members. An attacking mob member takes an optimum offensive loadout while a defensive mob member takes an optimum defensive loadout. Whichever group has a higher distribution gets loaded out first.
This distribution is permanent. The only way to change it would be via Don points or an obscene amount of in-game cash, that way there is a strategy involved in your choice.
This distribution would not be visible to other players, so there would be a large risk in attacking players, just as there is in real life when mobs fight.
Just my idea...again not too practical to implement, though...

I don't see how it would be impractical to implement. I program for a living, and I don't see the difficulty lies. 😉

OK, back on topic. It should cost 1 energy to switch one mob member from fighter to earner or vice versa. This ensures some level of commitment, as one wouldn't be able to switch 1k or 2k mob at a moment's notice.

good point. But I think there should be no limit because it would take for ever to switch 1k or 2k mob. This way you can decide what u wanna do with your mob and you don't have mob members doing nothing.OK, back on topic. I also program for a living, and I agree the implemntation on the dev's side wouldn't be too complicated. Rather, I meant that the implementation would be too much of a change to the current formula.I don't see how it would be impractical to implement. While I think a drastic change may be needed, there are a lot of players who rely on the current battle system to stay successful.
