New iPhone

So, I have to trade out my iPhone, which involves doing a restore. Sorry for my ignorance, but will I lose my Turf Wars account or can I transfer it to my new iPhone?

There is a way to transfer it to a new phone... Not sure the process... Ask nick

Just make sure that you have backed up your old iPhone applications to iTunes. When you setup your new phone with iTunes , there is an option to restore it from backup. This will sync all o your old programs to the new phone. I did it when I got the 3gs. There are tons of instructions on the Internet for doing this. Good luck.

Yeah it's a little more complicated than natedogg suggests. Your turf wars account is stored on the game server and accessed by your iPhone using it's serial number as an account key, or something like that. If you get a new phone your account will still expect the old phones ID number as a password to access your account.

Oh awesome, I didn't think this thread had ever been answered so I didn't go looking for it till now & earlier today I sent the question to feedback. Thanks guys :) (hehe, now I can stop sitting in my car in the mall parking structure & go into the apple store)
