I know I've posted something similar before.... But I still can't understand why I can check out someones full inventory of weapons before I decide to attack them.... Surely this should be hidden until after I attack them?... Surely you should have to take some risk rather than being able to calculate the outcome before deciding to attack???

But where's the gameplay in calculating mathematical certainties? .... I might as well go and play with my excel spreadsheet? You get this info anyway once you take a risk and go ahead and attack.

So then its still exactly the same thing except you need to make one attack. I honestly don't see the difference

At least you have to risk something for the info - ie the response that may follow if you take on someone who has stronger weaponry than you thought? ..And then they may have made changes to surprise you when you come back to pillage them again the next day etc... Something to make battling a bit more interesting than just adding the numbers..

I agree that you shouldn't be able to see what others have. But if it did change then there would need to be a spy option instead of attack that would still use stam.

Like this idea, prefer it as a loot item tho - rather than an everyday option.
