A map clear button

Basically just a button that clears the map of turf so you can get your bearings if your on a hop as sometimes areas are so densely populated with turf you can't read location names.

Bit like the claim turf button. Just tap it again and the turfs repopulate.

Maybe just double tap the claim turf button?

it takes a long time to zoom out and it risks crashing the app a lot IMO. I personally love this idea and have wanted it many times while hopping.

Not a bad idea. Just tried it. It appears in the US you have a different "zoom level" than we do. We are much "further up" when looking at the map. We do live on a little island you know!
I haven't tried anywhere else but turfs are very densely populated here in some areas that the map becomes congested and no useful info can be got from it.
