I don't think you get enough benefits from being capo of a city! The main benefit is not having to pay police protection, but most people just use the don points, so it doesn't matter.
I think that you should get 10% more defence on the turfs with the city you are capo of or something like that, it will encourage people to try become the capo as they want the defence :)
That's just an idea, what you guys think? -
I agree Capo status needs more benefit but unsure on the added defence.

i agree that it should have (im hesitant to use the word "needs") more benefit. there was a suggestion somewhere that people in the cities would pay some sort of tax to the capo.

There is one benefit that everyone seems to overlook, or is just unaware of.
But Capo status reduces your risk of getting busted in missions.
For those that do not use points to pay off the cops, the more locations you are in and hold capo status, the better off you are.

Bragging rights can be enough too IMO. For smaller cities it doesn't make much difference. But for a big city known for being run by a big mobster this can make getting capo very nice and worth the trouble.

Yeah but most people just spend the 5don points so they dont get caught so there really there is no point fighting to become capo. It needs to be worth a lot more so that people fight to get it :) thats my opinion anyway

What about also taking a small percentage of the income of all the other non-capo turfs in the area? Therefore more reward for being capo of a populated area?

Ya 1% doesn't sound like much but that's like $520 from each turf your not capo of. And if your new and have 20 turff then that's bunch of money per hour to a new guy

U should not have to pay until say level 30-35 maybe so the newer players get a good amount of breathing space. N i dont mean the whole players income just the turfs that are in your town,city ect that your capo of....

Perhaps maybe a set amount of say 1-2k is added to the income to each of your turf in your capo. Just an idea instead of making everyone pay

I agree with the idea that the Capo of a town should receive tax from the other players in the town.

Or why not they pay protection to the capo? Like when u build ur turf on another one? Just think of it as one giant turf built on all those others!

Oh and btw my income is 34m after paying 29m upkeep. Seems like a lot buy considering I paid 45m to Kay down 1 turf today isn't that much at all
