Many people over the months have said it would be good to have a forum update button so you don't have to go back and forth to see updates and changes. I'm personally for this idea. So why not have the update feature implemented on the forum and news page. It works he same way Facebook uses this feature. You just hold the screen and slide down and that page refreshes. It'd be out of the way and hidden so only appears when you swipe. Let's get this done people. Come on vote.

Doesn't the news screen already have an update button in thevtop right corner? Can this same button be rolled out over all pages? Forums included?

Yeah it does. My suggestion is simply applying that to gesture refresh. For incompatible devices it don't change and is also applied to the forum.
