How is the mob system bad? It requires work. Plus I could care less about being vulnerable but a cash run only system would make it impossible for me to even come close to being competitive.Typical Belial defending a bad system because any change would cause him to be vulnerable.
It only takes about ten minutes to punch 100 codes.
Starting to sound like maybe this isnt the game for you.

Fair enough, but you have a hell of a headstart, how can I catch up (or at least get close)?I punched 430 codes less than 12 hours ago. So far I've increased by 170 mob.
Typical rate of return is around 40-60% if you keep up.

But a game should require "constant boredom" in order to compete.
It doesnt matter if it's agame, orif its life...
To be successful and to compete in anything is going to require effort.
You know what I think a good game for you is? Godville. Check it out. It's free. And you can compete on the highest levels without ever spending a dime or punching a code.

Same as everyone. Keep punching.
And since I have this big headstart, anyone small mob player or noob that punched the same codes should see even better results as many of the codes I punched were already in my mob.

It doesn't work like that. I don't think you realise how many inactives this game now has. A quarter of my mob probably come from temp codes. About 400 invited me. The rest come from the punched codes of turf wars info and turf wars db, about 4000.LittleSwags wrote:

I know better than you think. But players come and go constantly.
Theres not a single name on the leaderboard now that was there when I started playing.
And you may or may nit catch me. I was top 10 on world mob board for a while. I was punching every day to get to get there. Lately, I've only beenpunching twice a month.
The gap between me and top dod, persistent players wides daily.
So if you lower players put the effort in that they put in, you will catch me. Even pass me.
There's alwaysgoing to be players willing to put the ttime and effort in, and they will always be on top.

And the lazier players will Lways be adking for a way to make it easier to get to the top.
If you want it, you have to work for it.
And if you're working just as hard as hard as the guys on top, well they've been here along, long time and deserve what they have. You'll just to wait your turn out.
Even the biggest players move on at some point.
-
You're always going to have someone to beat on. And there's always going to be someone to beat on you.
That's just the way it is.
But if you want to be top dog, ypu have to earn it.

You have it better than we did. How long did it take you to get tat 6k mob? It took us old timers 6 months to get there.
Plus you have the benefit of getting the old reset players.
As far as current codes, no one has any advantages there. If we all punch the same, we all get the same.
-
If you punch temps which takes about 10-15 min a day you can average around 100 mob gain a day. It's not that bad. If you don't like the game don't play it but changing how the mob system works would be changing the whole game...most all mmo games are mob guild crew whatever you wanna call it dependent on. Storm 8 godfather all of them. It's the whole point of the mmo gaming system really, just depends on how determined you Are at becoming a successful player.

Punched all codes in turfwars.info(site claims 18000), nearly completed twdb(12000 codes) although most of twdb were repeats of turfwars.info and temp codes from day 1 (no idea how many codes there have been). So I'm pretty confident I have punched close to 20000 unique codes. -
So I think the problem here is the same problem addressed is the thread make mobbing up more fair

I fully agree the game is to dependant on mob size..... But there has been long conversations about it and noone has come up with a decent alternative.
If a better alternative that truely works were to be found id happily give up my mob.

New players domt need to catch up to vets. Or at least it should not be made easy for the to do so.
They're players in all ranges in this game. Someone for everyone to fight.
The vets earned their position with time put in. Many are passing the one year mark.
You want to okay on that level, you need to put the time in.
And I dont just mean time spent punching codes.

Charlie and Belial are right.
I have been playing since last November. Mr. Empire said to 👊CODE. I took that advice. I am better off for following the advice of ChainsawCharlie and Belial have given countless times in these forums since the beginning. I read them. Charlie recommended that somewhere.

Lionfury has been playing since about the same time as me. He just did not put in the work.

How many wars do you actually fight in belial

Littleswags is my nephew and I have constantly told him all he needs to do is punch codes and he has very nearly cleared two code sites. -

So how long should it take to get to 10000 mob (for example)? How many codes should I have to punch? And most importantly, how many mob would you have gained in that time?
The reality you are hiding from is that I will never catch up no matter how many codes I punch.
Which means local bullies will always be able to target me.
I will persevere, the majority will not.

You are right that you won't catch up to the biggest most dedicated players. But you can catch and pass those less dedicated. I introduced a friend to the game, and he punched a ton of codes. Not sure how many, but he stopped punching when he go to 3000 around thanksgiving. His mob is now 3900. so he's had 800-800 acceptes that took nearly a month.

Not everyone checks this game on a daily basis. Some are just casual players. Some are very casual players.
You can't just start playing a game and expect to get to the smae level as dedicated players that have been her for almost a year or more. You have to earn your way there. And that is not, and should not be possible in just a few short months.
And the fact of the matter is, that game promotes pullying just by it's very design. So next time someone caps you, find someone else and cap them.
Happy turfing!!
