Call it a "trip-wire". When someone attempts to capture the turf instead of the turf being captured it self destructs and destroys the turf that was used to cap from. It would need to have an upkeep charge that is pretty steep so that people wouldn't just equip one on every turf but it would be cool for use in a war. It would need some big drawbacks to prevent abuse so, stiff upkeep of like 40k/HR (or 60% of turfs income) and a hit to the defense stats on the turfs equipped. So if def is almost 500k and I equipped one, the defense when someone attacked that turf would be say 350k. Also would need to have a max number or percentage of turfs that could have one equipped at one time and once applied to a turf it can't be taken off (like police map).

I like this idea, very cool possibilities. I think maybe to make it harder to get, it could be a "rare" loot item and use it like a police map like you said. Also maybe make it so that it has to be in place 24 hours before it goes live (just like you'd have to setup a trip wire in advance and couldn't do one right away as the person's behind you). Then you wouldn't have to worry about the upkeep or cash issue because even if it cost a million an hour, there's a lot of players (like me) who could afford to set that and let it sit there for forever, do the upkeep wouldnt be a hindrance to big players, only small.

Another player (atla) also proposed the idea of a claymore. Stackable (up to 3 or 4) directional weapon that covers 45 degrees with each weapon. Could have same principles as the trip-wire. The difference would be that the claymore would destroy any turf in the area covered if dropped and left there for 24 hrs.

I think it sounds raw. Probably one of the most useful loots that would be implemented.

I don't agree with destroying turf. But it could add an extra 1mil defence and only be available at lv60 have an upkeep of 1.5mil per hour then count me in!!!
