How about hiding a players weapon info until you have attacked them or they have attacked you - and then you only info based on what was used in the fight.

I just figure - when do you ever get to sit down with your opponent and ask them to put all their weapons on the table before deciding if ya gonna attack them or not?

True, but this would probably mean a HUGE game engine overhaul and sudden beatdowns if ur favorite target went shopping
