What a horses head has to do with draining someones stamina. I mean, shouldn't it have been a rufee, or some GHB. Getting drugged makes more sense. And it should take all energy as well.

It's from the godfather. The part where he has his rivals horse decapitated and the head put in the rivals bed. This saps the rivals will to oppose the godfather

You get stamina from sleeping and u won't be getting much of that with a horse head in yer bed lol

Belials explanation is bang on,more about your rival losing the will/ability to fight back than the stamina lose.
