Implement a one-a-day gifting system for players within a family.
Gift contents could be things like cannolis, balaclavas, bagmen, 25xp, $20,000, etc.

There would have to be some limits on it, but it's not a bad idea.

I think there would have to be a lot of limits, actually.. A player posted on my wall and brought it to my attention that some people may use alts to exploit. Not that I didnβt consider this, but thinking of it now I donβt see any safeguards in place that could prevent this.
What if a player had to be of a certain level before they could join a family? Like once you lose don protection or something like that. At least then itβd actually take effort to abuse which could be a deterrent.
Maybe set a cap on how many gifts you can receive in a day or week?
Also, Iβm thinking small-time gift loot. Things thatβll help new players get a foothold. Iβm thinking this gifting system can be used by anyone but is most useful to new players with low turf limits, mob count, cash, etc. The gains should be significant enough that players under Lv30 get the most benefit out of it.

Example gift loot:
+1-2 turf limit
$25,000-$100,00
+1-2 henchman
+1 [turf upgrade, higher drop for lower tier]
+1-2 cannoli
+25-50xp -
Oh, and some free weapons from the store. 1-10 of each one. Drop rates being lower for the higher tier weaponry.

It's a no from me chief. Good ideology, but all this will do is make new players feel as if they deserve handouts.
