Mobbing up has become so minimal for new players I would suggest giving a certain number of henchmen for each level, like you did with free respect points per level. It does not cost mfp anything and would help retain some of the new players.

Yes new players need to motivated to stay. We all know new players have slowed to a trickle. This idea would help. 🐢

You want to motivate new players to stay? The problem is that new players don’t have a chance because of the “pay to play” players. When you have a player that’s got 60+k mob constantly farming you, you quickly lose motivation. There’s a Don restriction on attacking extremely low level players. How about one that does the same for people that don’t have (and never will have) these insane numbers of mob?

And before you jump on the “you’re just whining because the game’s not ‘fair’” bandwagon, I’m not. I’m playing devil’s advocate. You want new players, but this game is so horribly imbalanced that it doesn’t take new players long to realize that you’re either one of the elite few or you’re fodder for them. People don’t stick with games when they know that they have absolutely no chance of getting anywhere. I’ve been in this game for several years. After constantly being farmed, I reset and quit. When I came back, I decided not to advance beyond level 2 just to have a chance at enjoying the game. That changed yesterday afternoon with the forced level. Now, I doubt I’ll be playing much longer because once I start getting farmed with no chance of winning, I’ll get fed up with it and quit again. THAT is why you’re losing players and not getting new ones.

Mob makes the game. You can have fun not fighting and just hopping and looting/farming, however that only keeps you entertained so long.

@ Silver Fox, you started over 6 years ago. You could easily have a 50k mob by now if not more.
If by farmed, you mean taxed, it's part of the game. That is why I say inactives shouldn't be capped, especially those with sub 86 influence turf. It gives those with low mob easy turf to tax without risking loot. -
Shame to hear Fox, I'll level you up so you dont have to suffer anymore.

I agree. He might like the game more if he can plant 86 inf to hop with. #NOMORESUFFERINGShame to hear Fox, I'll level you up so you dont have to suffer anymore.

You’re just proving my point. The OP was complaining that new people don’t play or stick around. That’s why. But, keep it coming. I don’t play often enough to care.

You don't need 10,000+ mob to run the game, successful new players only need about 2,000+ mob to be effective. Yes the game has imbalances, but you can still strive considering the ecosystem of noobs are generally weaker than previous years. There are still opportunities to dominate, you just gotta look for them.₱ℝØ₱ℍ≡₸🕋 wrote:

Why do you let people tax you? Either reduce your turf to 1inf so it doesnt go negative or move the turf. Its really simple.

Mr. Robot wants one.
