Quite rare item. U use it on a player. Stops them posting 💩 on the forums for a week. Great for trolls.

Haha. Actually I beat you to this idea. I posted it a few weeks ago. May have deleted it though. No. The forums don't in any way affect balance but there are flaws. I could see a gag war happening which could make the forums very empty.

I like it. It seems most ppl use CBs and shoes for jokes or hazing than actual use. So throwing in this would be just for fun and getting rid of trolls for a certain period of time. Idk about a week though.

It would be more than a little awkward in here though if bella, belial, chainsaw, etc., all got gagged in the same week...

Arguements in forums and in the game itself could result in hundreds of silenced players. Dislike 👎

Dislike -- support freedom of speech and expression for all, no matter how nuts and pointless their posts are.

First of all, freedom of speech does not apply to Internet message boards.
There's nothing wrong with heated debate and even a little arguing, but trolling for the sake of trolling does need to be stopped.
Blatant trolls can be reported through the feedback and support buttons, and the devs do take action. The problem with the idea suggested here is that it is too open for abuse. Players will be silencing other players just because they don't like them, just for a kicks, or for whatever reasons.
I think the community here does a pretty good job of self-policing, but as long as there is individual opinion, no place will ever be perfect, and one person will always consider another person to be a troll.
