An idea to rid the map of inactive players.
Let's say someone has been inactive for 6 months or so, their turf is then open to a "Riot" option. If you initiate a "Riot" on someone's turf you have a chance to, not capture the turf, but destroy it, and permanently remove it from the map. If you have more mob members than the player who's turf you "Riot" on, you have a higher chance of destroying the turf, lower mob lower chance of destroying the turf.

You initiate a "Riot" and a timer starts (10 minutes or so) when the timer is up, you get a notification to say wether your riot was successful and you permanently removed the turf from the map, or your riot was unsuccessful and you lose influence and have to gain it back.

Just my thoughts on how to rid the game of inactive players while also giving active players more things to do.

I think inactive players should be penalized by their assests/resources should decay over time. This was they will slowly gradually decline until they become ripe targets to cappers. This would make it so as soon as there’s an update there’s not an immediate wipeout of inactives, but rather ongoing fun targets for active users.

Would definalty help keep the map clean

You can already clean the map just by capping everything you see. form a v and it destroys the turf just like you want. And it lasts a week allowing you to setup, mature, cap, tear down and do it over again. Or you can just delete the turf you cap.
