Ok so the lack of ads has been an issue off and on for as long as turf wars has offered free respect points but possibly never as serious as it is now. This has almost certainly been suggested before but I say give everyone 5 free respect points a day for TRYING to view an ad. Whether one is available to watch or not, award the attempt.

Ive had the message "no ads available in your area" pop up once before and tried restarting the app and trying again no luck.. I then tried using my data instead of wifi and got an ad first try.
Maybe that will work for other people too👌

The point of advertising is always the watch time. Not watching it doesn’t make sense to get rewarded.
Regardless, I haven’t had an issue with ads for the last two months.

Shouldnt we get more points for those longer ads then? Most of the ones i get are 10-15sec, and the odd one 30sec

Luckily, I was only unable to get ads for about 2 days. However, I've always thought it unfair that some are penalized for not having ads available, as it's not in the control of the player. I agree that if a player attempts to watch an ad, the player has fulfilled their obligation. Great idea.👍👍👍👉😵

No. The point of advertising is to make nick money. But you're right, not watching it is no reason to get rewarded. Trying to watch it on the other hand should be rewarded so that the player is encouraged to try again tomorrow.

Or maybe they can just implement a daily reward system. For example in the day 1 you recieve 1-2 points and when you reach day 7 you win 10 points, finally the reward reset and the cycle starts all over again.

Another alternative: 1-4 respect points for trying but not succeeding and 5 for successfully watching.

Anything is better than "no points".

Or maybe try 5 times and get the points after the 5th failed attempt.

Been running TW on an IPhone 5 using iOS 10.2.1 for the past year and have had no problems getting ads.

FYI - I get steady don pts here, but when I went to Montreal last week, nothing the whole time. Wonder if ads are location dependent?

Of course they are location dependent. Back when I still got ads, some were targeted towards to Germans.

For the record: still no ads and flurry was telling me that they can't help me. So much for the notice we get upon failed ads that tells us to contact Flurry.

Is there any European getting ads?

No. I did for about five months a few weeks back (think it may have been based on my internet searches as the ads were related) but its been more than four years now without ads & points.
