What a rip off !!!!!!

I was unable to purchase any new turf, so I bought a point pack so I could purchase new turf . Pressed the option to add new turf under dons options and went to map to get new turf only to be told I couldn't ... So because I have captured turf I am being punished . I think pts should be refunded
-
i second this
-
Tear down offending turfs, if it's that bad...
-
I would have to rip 2 down or waste another 24 PTs

Life is rough.

I agree with balls, why would he buy any more points? He has nothin to gain!! Nick is doing himself out of money.
People that say tough, piss off. Give a reason or keep it shut.

Mule . Life might be rough but this isn't life it's a game and I feel ripped off and I am sure I am not the only one . Thanks Steve and boogeyman for your support

If you wouldve looked in the profile u would have seen u had so and so turfs and a turf limit right next to it. In the don section it clearly says "increase turf limit". You couldve figured that out before u bought turf limit with your points. I do agree that captured turfs shouldn't count towards your limit though

It makes me not want to capture anymore
-
Supa . I did look @profile but thought spending don pts on a new turf would give me more turf . Bottom line is this needs addressing

Yeah it's almost usless to up your limit if your an agressive player it all depends on what your trying to accomplish it also evens out the feild tho if the capo of a town comes in and takes 20 turfs he shouldn't be able to build somewhere else until that takeover is resolved either with tear downs or they've leveled to that point. I think the point packs just help new guys catch up to fast by getting 100 and then having the income to take on a larger opponent

All the information you needed to make the right decision for yourself was available before you purchased, but you were too eager to grow your balls and thought a few bucks would make you, but you didn't think about an important aspect... Strategy.
-
This has been sugdested before, but no one is responcible for you using your points, it's like refilling your energy when it's almost full, sell some turfs you can always capture more later if you are "agressive" player lol

First off, thanks for purchasing points, they go towards funding future development of the game!
Turf limits are in place to make it harder for a single player to gobble up entire cities. If you think NYC or San Francisco are crowded now, how would they look if you could build all the turfs you wanted? Newbies wouldn't stand a chance, and big guys would get bored since no would could build turf in their area.
If there is a better way to prevent players taking over whole cities we'll look into it. One idea that may work is basing it off of your turf density - i.e. if you have 100 turfs in your area you won't be able to build more unless (a) you use Respect Points to increase the limit, or (b) go to another area to build more turfs. That way your turf in Seattle won't limit what you can build in NYC or London etc.

big balls, the last thing you want is a player like me, over my limit by several hundred through captures, to be able to buy more and victimize at will. and it's us meglomaniacal fucktards that would just destroy everyone if that were the case. before I was over my limit it was fun to strategize what bases I needed to part with if I were to make moves and grow.

Actually that is exactly what nick wants, you and me to BUY points. They pay for the server.
Turf upgrade is not cheap and unless you are rich or careless it is something most people do sparingly

Pure brilliance.
I'm going to buy another point pack this weekend to insure these ideas keep coming. And can be implemented.
This gives me an idea...
see you in the suggestion forum.
