Does anyone else agree with me that it would be great if it were possible to renew police protection up to 12 hours prior to running out? Somehow I’ve managed to end up with my police protection running out in the middle of the night and it would be great to renew it before going to bed!

I suggest you set an alarm for exactly a week from when you renew it because that’s how long it takes to expire. If you renew it in the middle of the night then it’s your fault that’s when it’ll disappear.
