There are sometimes I don’t know what consiglieres are for. People who re new to the game might even get confused for not knowing what they are.

Sounds like these people might need "help". They should go to the help tab on their home screen. Then try the "loot" button. There might even be a "loot list" in there that tells them all about the various loot items.
