on the family page could there be a link or button for a tournament. automatically sets up a private tournament to all family members but lets you choose the name, type, and length of time.

I agree, DEICIDE. I had actually suggested this exact thing a while back. It would be a great feature and even make a family v. family option as well, could potentially include some incentives but I don't want to push it.

An incentive that would be nice is the winning family gets a banner on the main page for say a month or so with all family codes inside. Much like how they do now for updates and announcements.
