I know nick is against capturing based off location due to spoofing. But what about a loot that allows you to have a stake out where if you're in the same location for 8-12 hours straight you can capture it. The way it works to prevent gps spoofing is that you must physically circle around the turf you place the stakeout on. While having the map open your location will be tracked and moves smoothly around said turf. With a spoofed it just pops up so it doesn't count. Circling around the turf will act as a way for you to look for weaknesses and openings which will allow you to take it over once the time is complete. What are your thoughts?

Sounds pretty complicated when all you have to do is drop a turf and wait 24 hours. Spoofers normally get reset pretty quickly. Capping from location without dropping a turf would not allow the other person to fight back.

But what about those that are well over their turf limit from capturing so much?
And they can fight back because it would only work on one turf so once that turf is captured. The other person has 24 hours to cap it back or get out of their reach.
And perhaps it can finally give a use for the defensive upgrades of the turfs. They will alert the player that someone is physically watching their turf and give off a notification of suspicious activity. It won't say who though but they'll give you time to prep for war -
People that are over turf limit can either tear under or buy limit until they can plant. They aren't being forced to be overlimit.

This gives a reason to have the defensive upgrades (cuz I know for damn sure I've never used them and anyone I know doesn't use them either)
It'll also implement a new strategic style of game play that implements your actual location again -

It'll also implement a new strategic style of game play that implements your actual location againLike Heather said, no one in this game is forced to be overlimit, that’s a choice. It’s a lot easier and quicker to tear a thousand turf than it is to build them.

These already have a purpose. If you are fighting someone of equal size every bit helps. Plus they are a great way to make people waste carbombs. Overlimit people already get the perk of a much increased income which they often use to let friends tax.
