Nick,
A very useful feature for turf hopping I think would be making a new item via respect points that would increase radius in which to plant turf in. Useable once, more than one can be equipped at one time, maybe 50-75 points per increase. Would also make good loot.

Police maps are mainly for hopping across dead zones, and are rarely looted.
