Set map home point

I'm over my turf limit and therefore gps does nothing for me except zoom into my location and drain battery quickly. I'd therefore like to be able to set a map home screen so that I could turn gps off and have the map display my city at a decent zoom level whenever I went to the map. This would save having to locate my city from the world map (not too hard just boring!)

Yeah, but this means I still need gps and which drains the battery so much.

You'll still need gps is you want to fight. Location services are required for fighting.
