I can't claim turf

It says i am too far away from existing turf, but I am in the green space near my physical location...

Refresh the map. Are you overlimit?

The "green space" around your physical location is irrelevant to capturing turf. The "green space" only identifies where you can build turf.

Nearness for capture depends on the location of your closest turf to the target turf, which will be identified on the attack/capture screen. Keep planting closer and closer until you get a green check for the first condition for capture.

He can't claim turf. He didn't mention capturing.

Can I get some help too. I can't seem to plant any turf in the green circle around my turf. I can't figure it out.
