What's wrong with jail broken phones?
-
Should just ban Andriods also since they do the same thing as a jail broken iPhone.

Just because a person modifies their device, does not make them a cheater. Apple allows jail breaking, though they try to stop it through patches. I don't understand the mentality of punish everyone for the sins of a few.

Apple is against Jailbreaking, but it is legal. It is as easy to cheat on Android as jailbroken iOS.Roger That wrote:

In order to cheat, you need to trick the server you have an ip adress in another location. You can do that on jailed iDevices too. Accont monitoring can help. Say I am in Kansas and I claim turf in Australia and am back in Kansas in a 1 hour spand, the server could inform the admin and they could revew it.

pokemon cant even ban people gps spoofing, they need to call nick for help on that one

Federal regulators lifted a cloud of uncertainty when they announced it was lawful to hack or “jailbreak” an iPhone, declaring Monday there was “no basis for copyright law to assist Apple in protecting its restrictive business model.”

Coolio, Apple tries to stop people exploiting security holes in their software by patching their software. They have to use their brains instead of law per that court case.
Interesting read:

Apple refuses to help the FBI, an Israeli helps the FBI, Apple tries to ascertain the nature of how the Israeli could unlock the phone but gets denied.

Don't mind Foolio, he's a big wet tampon.
