Family Members should receive a 1% defensive bonus from Family Members with more Influence than themselves. This creates a balance by helping newer/smaller players without further overpowering larger players.
All Turf should state the Family associated with it right under the name of the turf on the map itself.
Families should have a HQ with stats that can be attacked by other Families (not players outside of a Family) without any distance requirements. Family Members should pay a 1% tax that goes into Family Treasury and can be stolen when their HQ is attacked. HQ should have HUGE costs associated with upgrading it and it should not be possible to donate to a Family Treasury. The Family Boss should be able to transfer funds to Family Members (or themselves) once a day from the Treasury.
Families should have their own influence equal to 1% the total influence of all members and increased by attacking other Family HQ's (as well as reduced by attacking their own).

Sounds like you want free inf and cash for doing nothing.

None of that would give free inf or cash. It creates a new Influence ranking for Families. It does noy provide Influence to members.
It also does not result in free cash. It taxes cash that hets spent to upgrade your Family. That reduces income for individual members, not increasing it.

Most of your members are under 500 mob. Do you really think you'd be able to defend that treasury? Gobble, gobble, yum, yum, yum.
