Allow overlapping turfs to be recognized for placement. This woild allow a slow inching through deadzones. Only problem I see would be water turf and remote turf but because of the very slow hop I think these woild be very minal

I like, but it's very costly especially on the bigger deadzones. Water turfs isn't a problem as nick monitors this anyway :)

Good idea, but why would remote turf be a problem, couldn't another player still reach them with the same system?

A better way would be to allow forced plants using the maps. If using a map it allows planting irregardless of the geocoder recognition. This way you could get across the black holes.
As rare as the maps are this would still keep things in balance. -
