How about this:

When your turf goes live the little box with your turf name - currently always black- turns green for say 6 hours. A quick visual to let you know where to start capping from, and how many are live.

I've seen some name their turf with the time created. 1:00..1:05..1:10.. You get the idea.

Im thinking of something only you can see , naming turf with create times - everyone can see. Thought about the red option too, whatever is easier.
