People will spend alot of money have a large mob of henchmen and no real players and kick everyones butt.

Henchmen should be temporary .. Limited time hires/mercenaries .. That would keep Nick happy with income stream /AND/ stop people buying their way to the top.... Means henchmen become a tactical purchase to achieve a strategic objective or break a deadlock.
What do you think Nick??

People that buy their way to the top are best for Nicks income stream. I don't agree with people that bully around in the game and haven't donated a penny to the cause. You should be able to get an a$$ whopping, spend 10 or 20 bucks on respect points and get revenge. Henchmen are ridiculously expensive and if not powered up, maybe we should get 10 or 25 henchmen for the price. Paying customers should be able to level faster than non paying customers at any game.
