For example if you want to tag a certain player when you start a new post. That player is informed. Or a particular subject like loot related. Max 5 tags per post.

Well yeah I guess. A lot of forums tesedays have tags so I wouldn't say it's adopted from FB but same method.
Would work well with a forum search and in particular the vendetta forum, it would save having to search for the player, you can just tag them and because it informs them thy can have the opportunity o explaining their side of the story before war breaks loose.
