Punching codes

Is it me or does the whole punching codes thing ruin the game and experience. There's no skill in punching codes, just many hours of your life wasted with absolutely no gaming fun while doing so. Only people who have time to waste will become the stronger players, surely that's not what a game is about? Surely you should become stronger by using real skills, communicating and building real mobs?
I think you should only build real mobs by recruiting people to your mob and only be allowed one mob. It adds a real meaning to the game and requires communication and negotiation skills.
Players skill sets and personal inventory should actually mean a lot more, currently player skill sets are worthless because of code punching mob numbers.
As much as I want to get into this game, I really can't justify spending hours of my day punching codes, I want to play a game of turf war not be a data inputter -
Don't punch codes. Find another way to make the game interesting. There's more than one way to make the game interesting.
In almost 4 years of playing TW I've got squat for mob. People who started around the same time as me now have 50-60k mobs. I just find other ways to entertain myself. Yeah I've been beaten down here and there, but it does create an interesting game when you have to use diplomacy and cunning to go up against brute strength.

You only need to spend 20mins a day punching codes to get a decent mob. I do it while watching tv at night or while I am driving to work on the motorway, can get difficult juggling a laptop and mobile as well as keeping my eye on the road tho😵. The idea of punching codes means a big mob requires time, patience and a little bit of hard work, if you ain't got that then stay small and try and play a different game as getch said.

What Nick has stopped giving out the free 4K hench. Damn
I work full time, travel a lot and still get to punch all the codes. Yes I admit it's all I have time for most days, but only takes 20 mins and you soon build up. I never thought I'd be number two on the leaderboard, but dedication pays off.
This game allows players with small mobs to still fight and they have massive range in capture distance on bigger players. If not there is always someone smaller you can attack after a few sessions punching codes.
Just keep at it and you will see you can have fun on the map. Post your code in the forums and on the code websites. -
