What if instead of everyone being in everyone else's mob, ypu were limited to Players within a radius of 300 miles for mob members.

It would definitely put an emphasis on local fighting and territorial rivalries. Especially with keeping fight radius of 1000 miles.

Too big of an advantage to people in the more populated areas. Also it'd be very frustrating to punch in thousands of codes and only get a useable mob of like 30.

Then they could limit attack radius as well.

Or keep everyone in your mob, but only those in a 300 mile radius would be used in the fights.
