I know there have been a lot of suggestions and criticisms about these two sets...

What about this... When you apply a skill point to attack or defense, a random number is generated between 1 and 100. That number is added to your attack or defense count.

Or perhaps a random number between 1 and 500 or even 1000.

The only problem i see with this is, no one else can calculate your actual strength. But that may be a good thing!

I feel like the whole attack and defense business should just be thrown out entirely. I have a point on attack that I don't want I just accidentally clicked it. The whole thing seems pointless.

Or just give a refund on skill points from the attack and defense. Put those points into something useful
