Lookouts send alert

How about if you place a lookout on your turf it sends an alert on your iPhone (just as if you we're being attacked) if a new turf has been placed in capping range of the lookout.

Would be crazy ass difficult because people have different capture ranges, but yeah I like it 👍

This would be way too complicated due to different cap ranges & locations. I can't even imagine how many alerts a big player would get if they put one on an airport turf. It has nothing to do with what the loot does either.

Wouldn't it make sense that a lookout would "look out" for your turf? If they see a threat they would tell you.

If i put a lookout on a turf at the Phila airport and every time somebody hops near it I'm gonna get a notification. I don't need that many notifications coming through. I have to give this a thumbs down.

Couldn't you say the same for a guard or security camera? Wouldn't they call back to base or be remotely monitored?

I'm not agreeing with the idea but just saying there could be an option to not receive these notifications.
But in my opinion it's way to complicated to set up since everyones conditions are different

How about, instead of wanting a loot upgrade to make everything easier for you, you keep an eye on your own turf and stop being lazy.

The idea has got pros and cons, but all I envision is a player putting 4 lookouts in a crowded city and being flooded with notifications. Admittedly it simplifies looking at your turf but that's a part of the game... If you don't look after you turf you don't server a defensive bonus and something watching them all for you. It's a benefit to the players both large and small that play regularly and check their account. This idea gets a 👎 from me.

I'd just like my lookout to come back home after a while. I have dozens of lookout lost out there and I'm sure they would love to come back to me. At less it would be nice to see a list of what turf is equipped with a lookout.

Why would people want to put a look out in a crowded airport knowing full well, it's an airport. Or major city...

I like this idea. This would benefit those not wanting to be capped out of an area. A look out on a turf in a non crowded area. Any movement sends u notification that someone is within capping range. Little check mark tells them they're in range. Why can't a look out tell me?

I think this is a good idea. With some tweaking it could really work.

Perhaps the lookout could inform you if someone opens up the tab where they attack your turfs. Like they get an update whenever someone is about to attack or is considering attacking their turf.

What if you added a lookout with parameters? For example, you can establish a lookout to watch for certain players. If player xyz came within capping range I get notified.

👎To the original idea, it would be annoying to get so many alerts from airports and city's.
But👍 to knee benders idea because you can select which players.
