Attacking own mob/allies

Other games prevent this from happening. If turfwars followed it would keeping guys from growing into the 10s of 1000s because it would limit who they can attack. Any thoughts from the exp crowd? The game as played would be more strategic then simply punching codes, yeah? This comes from a bumper/occasional puncher/ecode holder.

If you were left to solely protecting your allies instead of fighting them along with actual in game alliances vs what it is now. That would create a real mob family feel. Paying tax/protection on turf checks, but attacking the same dudes everyday gets old. When I fight the same people come up and I attack. I also get attacked by the same people. Now I've friended my attackers and I'm sure my victims have friended me.

This is not about making it fair either. This is about keeping it interesting for new guys and old.

I think it is an interesting concept. But it seems like a complication, more than an enjoyment to me.
I'm sure a few people would enjoy it around here.
Personally TW needs something new, strategy wise. But that is just me.

Hence this suggestion. If you have 70000 people in your mob your on top, for good or evil. But if you can't attack those people, and only protect then it gets interesting. I play this other game Modern War that follows, I think, this concept.

I understand. Maybe since I've never played a game with that type of strategy.Hence this suggestion. If you have 70000 people in your mob your on top, for good or evil. But I think it would be difficult to get the older players to accept such a large change as well.
But I do admit, if implemented correctly and explained (very) well, I could see it being a good idea/suggestion. -
People you attack could automatically be removed from your mob. π

At first, too kind of prove the effect and lower the HUGE mob numbers, but eventually fix it so your mob doesn't appear in fights. I know Nick mentioned a new GPS game with different modes from TW. I spend too much time on here as is.

It ain't gonna change, but you're gonna love Global Supremacy!

No, just noπ

Sorry, but I'm not going to protect 77,000 people. I attack friends all the time. Sometimes we cap each other too.
If you're tired of attacking the same people, attack different people. You don't have to rely on your fight list. I barely use mine.
Allies change over the years. You're talking about an entirely different kind of game. People have already invested too much time and money (like on hench) to make such a drastic change. If that's the kind of game you like, then I recommend you play one of the existing ones.

Not protect. Simply not attack. You, could get tribute from the mob and tax on the properties. This game is far gone for a full change like what I'm suggesting. I've been reading posts from 3 years ago when this was needed and could have been implemented. I'm looking forward to a fresh game in GS. TW is awesome as a real life traveler. I'm sure GS will be too.

You'd end up adding & removing people from your mob depending on whether you wanted/needed to attack them & if you needed mob to defeat someone else. You'd end up needing a spreadsheet to keep track of who was in your mob, who needed to be removed, added back etc. You couldn't just accept invites, you'd have to look into the person that sent it first. You might even have to negotiate with people to get them to accept your invite. That all sounds miserable to me.Not protect. Simply not attack. Which meaning of tribute are you referring to? There's already a system for taxing. If you get tax from your mob's properties, then they'd get tax from yours, essentially canceling each other out.
TW is also awesome for people that don't travel.
