Just pulled this from the cap range thread. Now is a good chance to influence the next change Nick wants to make to keep airports open.

This is a bit out of left field, but what about a max turf density per player per km, based on turf count not influence. Once you hit it, you can't plant more in the area, and any you cap will be marked for auto delete in 24 hours. Teams of players could gang up and block whole areas, but it will stop the use of single players from holding massive areas around airports. It seems every faction has their own holders these days, so everyone will have to accept their pet airport is open for business.

Other ideas?

Yes. Stop using airports altogether, boycott them. Only hop from place to place. Also boycott codes. Dont punch them anymore.

Generally the guys who close the airports are the guys who spend the money on the game, surely nick wouldn't want to upset them?

how about making the takeoff field bigger than the landing field. players who dont feel like asking somebody to fly out can still do it. there are still a good amount of airports open where they can land without hassle. no sense in landing where you are not welcome.

Don't like the limit on turf in an area. What about the ones trying to survive the snipers who spam? That would cut off their only lifeline. As bad as it is that's relatively their only defense. Oh shit did I just bring the other thread here? Lol but seriously joking aside its affects game play outside the airport to much.

I didn't want to bring up spam...

I loathe it. It's a cheap tactic. But it makes a lot of money for nick, so I can't see it changing ever.

Selfish. What a laugh lol. As if this is turf hugs rather than turf wars. About as selfish as putting Brens on the market to unbalance the game for profit.

Where is this very PERSONAL opinion coming from? I remember when I was a little noob and Toronto got shut down, all I had to do was pm JimDirt and he so kindly allowed me to go global. A lot easier than changing vital game strategy that the paying customer basis knows and has learned to make the most of. Would be nice if there was a morals and ethics section in the help, I was unaware I was playing the game wrong.
