Firsr let me start by saying this "same old game" is quite an incredible one. One that has consumed countless hours and $ from my life.
That being said, I've been gone for a year and not much has changed. Mobs, Turf Counts, and most importantly bank rolls are out of control.
Big mobsters don't have much to spend their money on. Why can't things like police maps be purchased for 50 million? The tools section of the market is almost useless.
I don't have much of a suggestion but this game needs a major shake up like the addition of plane tickets. Something fresh, something new. Something that makes bankroll, turf limit and the market matter.

And to clarify. I'm talking about all the items that can be purchased in Tools section of market like car jimmy, c4 explosives, friend and Goldman Sachs. Those are the same items from 3 years ago.

True true. To quote a pm from a well respected mobster I was talking to recently, 'when did the game go from being a great time filler, to a major time killer?'

Positive revenue streams are anathema to innovation and change. There are a number of great ideals brought up that are routinely shot down for a number of reasons. Like most things nothing will change so long as the business model is to keep the gameplay simple and profitable. I as a matter of principle refuse to put real currency into a "game" for a virtual advantage of dubious distinction. Nonetheless, it is a poor business practice to ignore improvement opportunities because current practices are profitable. You have to ask yourself am I limiting my opportunity and earnings potential by refusing to change?

The more I think about this the more I realize how true it is. I used to not be able to wait to pick up my phone and play. Now I just play because I don't want to waste all the time I already have invested. Something new in the updates would help with this. Other than 'here, spend tons of money on limited time loot and here's 4 new airports' every 3-4 months.
