You need to talk to Apple and ask them why they're still not putting GPS chips in iPod touches. Letting people input their post code opens up all kinds of exploits...

Would a gps chip need wifi to use maps or as a sat nav.coz that would be cool for going to a place or if you don't want to spend big £££s on a sat nav

The new touch should have built in gps and wifi.all uss itouchers have to turf hop just to get to our local places.iphoners just walk.itouch needs not so much gps chip as built in wifi for gps and everything
