Code punching and acceptance rates revisal??
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › Code punching and acceptance rates revisal??-
Ok so ive came up with an idea for the code punching and acceptance rates. Its a very poor system, infact diabolical and if your a hardcore puncher you want to be rewarded, returns from 50k codes at 20k and 9K codes from 24K, is unfair on the player that has dedicated alot of time to the app, and most likely spent a bit of money too.
here it is:
Player A punches code from icm or Player B's wall.
Player A gets an instant acceptance, whereas Player B doesnt, as he hasnt punched the code of Player A.
The Mob member will remain in the account of Player A for as long as Player B has a created account, if inactive for a year, then the mob member is removed.I can only see this as advantage to the player who punches the most, and it will also make the lazy players who just sit back and accept invites punch codes to, or they will have no mob, it will also keep the older vets punching codes, as the year old inactives will be removed from there mob count.
what do you think on this idea??

So you saying that you have to keep punching the same codes or they disappear from you mob?
-
you wont be punching the same codes... you punch a code, you get an accept.. not a maybe, might be, never will be. think how big your mob size would be if you had an insant accept, wth your mob being 42k, im guessing youve probably punched over 100k codes, thats 60K codes of wasted time wth no benefit and if you dont punch codes or show commitment, then you will soon start.
-
So auto accept?
-
I like the auto accept, but I don't like the 1 year inactivity thing. Mob shouldn't go down that much
-
yep auto accept, which is much better for the people that put in the effort to punch codes. i understand where your coming from about the inactivity, this a suggestion that can be altered with all your input which should make it better for everyone all round.
-
its not fair to players who have worked hard for years. i could catch up to mickey dunn in a couple months by punching all the old codes on icm that i dont punch now because of the utterly terrible return. if you remove all 1 year inactives i would be bigger than him. if you do auto accept on only new codes it doesnt matter because both mickey and ne punch the sane codes so we grow at equal rates since there are a limited number of new codes. 👎
-
so if we take away the inactivity removal would that make you happy? and im sure mickeys mob would still be massive, due to the fact he probably has about 100k+ codes with no accepts punched. you probably would level out with the bigger players eventually, but then again, you would only do that if you put in the effort, which most players arent willing to do.
-
if you take away the inactive part the big get even bigger. if you keep it they lose a huge amounts. if he has 100k worth of non accepts how many do you think are inactive? i just dont think its fair to drastically alter the rules and change the game for people who have worked hard and spent money on it whether your 10k, 30k, or 80k. its too fundamental a part of the game to change.
-
ive worked hard and spent money on the game, so i feel as though im entitled to an opinion, of the last 10k codes ive put in, ive had less than 800 accepts, where is the fairness in that? ive went out of my way to punch a code, which is 100% more than mr lazy has done, yet i get nothing for it... not a drastic change, but a change is needed and just like everything else in life, we evolve and adapt.

That's illogical. That means players can never get any mobsters from receiving invites. Nick created temp codes to try & help some new players get a little jump on mob, to encourage them to stay in the game. So you'd be taking that away.
I've worked hard on punching codes for almost 3 years now & have easily punched at least 200,000 codes. Why shouldn't I benefit from the invites I get?
Not only that, but I should be punished by losing inactive players?
What your system amounts to is that after awhile, everyone that punches codes will have the same size mobs. The only way a player could then get an advantage is to spend thousands of dollars on hench. However, everyone that can afford that will have the same size mob. So you'll end up with 3 tiers of players: 1) the highest - those that punch & buy hench, 2) Those that punch & don't buy hench, 3) Newer players that haven't punched all of ICM yet.
I don't see the point. You should read "The Man's" thread on fairness in this forum.

so how do we logically plug the gap, from punching tens of thousands of codes and getting nowhere with them?
-
Ironfistnutter this is a disadvantage you will always see. This game is not for everyone so people come and go all the time. You will have an advantage over someone who starts today or next week so all you can do is keep punching looking for the elusive one you haven't added yet.

I'm always looking for that elusive one or 40k 👍😂 I understand what your saying though...

He is saying keep at it. If you keep punching you will stay a head of people who joined later than you and you will close the gap web larger players take breaks, quit, don't punch. This is a game that is about perserverence. It's not something you can join and be so good at that you get to the top right away. Even if you are great at it you still need time to close the gap with the top.〓FACHAN〓 wrote:

The gap doesn't need plugged. I don't want more mob. I'm not sure i could handle it. I certainly couldn't afford to arm it, so it would just be a huge disadvantage. I like getting invites, bc they make up for the resets. The system is fine the way it is, not everything needs fixing.so how do we logically plug the gap, from punching tens of thousands of codes and getting nowhere with them?

I don't agree. Part of the reason the top people are at the top is because they've punched since day one and they deserve the inactives they have. I've punched over 20k off of icm, so I know how you feel but the mob shouldn't be removed.
