New Element to the game

So I was here thinking to myself what could make the game more interesting and before I say anything and get instantly bashed on know this is just an idea that I thought worth sharing so if you don't like it just say so...
Considering this is a mafia based game with territory/turf owned by mobsters which includes defensive and influence upgrades... I was thinking that perhaps we could add a new brand of upgrades to turfs, including a whole new market of underground mafia-like products. Such as drugs. For instance adding the possibility to upgrade turfs with labs/fields that would produce a certain amount of drugs per hour, each turf could have a limited amount of buildings. Buildings could be upgraded to higher levels which would produce more product. Upgrading said buildings would take time and money, if said turf got capped whilst upgrading it'd be aborted. These drugs could then be stored and/or sold to a drug market (new feature) that... -
...would have variable prices, adding a sense of business oppurtunity (example:producing heroin and saving it to sell when it's at its highest selling price). Of course this is all just an idea... This could be thought over better, tell me what you think..

Okay I like what your coming at me with, I've definantly always been a micro manager like that. But....
1- with so many turf it's to hard to micro-manage.
2- with the mobsters who have trillions of dollars they could upgrade the most right away and take in a higher percentage of money right away then the noobs or newer players. -

2- an easy way to solve this would be have the upkeep/cost to upgrade of these buildings increase based on how much money you already possess to even it out. (kinda like the cost to heal that increases gradually) -
Also if a turf that posseses labs/fields producing product is being taxed, a certain percentage of the produced product would go to the taxer, like it happens with the income. The drugs could also have other uses other than being sold, example: if you possess a certain amount of grams(whatever unit) you could use them on your mob giving a boost in atk or def depending on the drug being used (most expensive to produce=better boost)
-
This boost would last only a limited time/or a limited number of boosted attacks.

To counter the abuse of this feature we could add a limit of boosts that would cause addiction if said limit was to be crossed, the addiction effect would cause the atk/def to decrease gradually until:This boost would last only a limited time/or a limited number of boosted attacks.
- the addiction wore off
- you kept on feeding the addiction(making it worse, also making the wear off time longer) -
Adding drugs to a game played by ppl of all ages would probabily be in bad taste. Personally don't bother me but just saying.

Lots of young people play this game. I am not sure a game where you make money from drugs is politically correct, or a good idea.
-
The beauty of this game is its simplicity, this sounds to complicated for me.
-
I can see what you mean, but lots of young people play call of duty (the majority) which is a game about war and killing. Worse than a virtual simulation of drugs, but like I said it was just an idea, its not like I expected it to be implemented.

Drugs are illegal war isn't. Also COD has an 18 certificate to buy.

I do see where you're coming from with your idea, and it is very well written out. But yeah, a LOT of young teens play this game (12-15) and I really don't think teaching the basics of drug production and dealing is a good idea.ad_BL6 wrote:

I understand your point, but to be honest it's not like we were teaching them how it all worked, it'd be far from how it works in reality, I've been aware of drugs since I was a kid and im not a drug dealer xDDonEpic wrote:

As I understand it, Nick would have to officially change the game's rating to 18+ because of the iTunes/Apple policy.
