Inactive codes.

Reset inactive's codes after being inactive for 6 months. This will decrease the amount of useless codes we have to punch and free up good custom codes for others. If an inactive comes back after 6 months they can pick a new custom code.
-
And what about all the income earned from inactive players. I am not sure you have looked at all aspects of the game.
-
He's not saying reset the inactives. Just their codes. It ties up an awful lot of easy add codes such as the two letter or two and three number codes along with other easier to punch codes that active mobsters can benefit from.
-
So basically if I have punched a series of codes, I will now have to repunch them because some of those codes may now belong to a different player.
No thanks.
-
It would be nice but it would need work. Like some way for players to claim a code on Icm that has already been added. So they can add it and it would be unchecked.
-
I've raised this topic before, and was told that it is not going to happen... I've punched 40k codes, and got 12k mob :) lol But still punch codes like mad! =)
-
To me it's simple. The person goes inactive for 6 months. Their invite code gets deleted. Turf wars holds their code for 3 months. This is plenty of time for icm users to mark a code invalid. After 3 months someone else can claim custom invite code. If inactive player comes back they have to pick a new custom code.
The reason most big players hate this idea is they don't want new players to be able to punch 20k codes and get 15k mob. This is 🐃💩. New players shouldn't have to waste hours upon hours punching useless codes.
-
I was thinking something similar to this Buff👍

That is pretty clever and well thought out! I don't see any lose ends, it would free up easy codes that everyone can punch again, the problem with the code alteady on ICM is fixed, I like it. You explained it to me, but I still think players who actively punch should be prioritized over an inactive who might want their custom code in 3 years if they decide to return. Inactiving the code would ineffect take away all inactive codes in the code site databases. I am all for your suggestion Funky since Nick informed me that invites would be purged regularily. This has already been suggested. I explained in that thread why it wouldn't work. (I'm being lazy & not rewriting it.) You can use google to find the thread.

Great idea. 👍👍👍👍

Great idea 👍👍👍 I could have had 40k mob by now... So many hours/days wasted on punching inactive codes, which probably will never be accepted 😕 -

Since invites get deleted after a short amount of time if the player were to come back you would have to repunch it anyway. Problem is how would you know you have to repunch it. Icm would say you already punched the code and you would never have the opportunity to add that person again unless they changed their code anyway. So basically if I have punched a series of codes, I will now have to repunch them because some of those codes may now belong to a different player.

Basically when nick made invites expire he got rid of any reason to keep inactives codes valid.
-
i think some people missunderstood funky. his 1st priority is not to free up those nice custom invite codes from inactives but to get rid of _all_ the inactive invite codes on icm and other pages. this would improve the return rate a great deal, especialy for the very motivated punchers, who are punching codes over 1 year old.
freeing up the custom invite codes is an added bonus, wich is a big problem actually because people paid don points for it, so they paid money for it.
this is why i think this idea wont happen. -

Yea, they said they would if TW would let them know which players were inactive.Sorry everyone for sounding rude, I just get tired of repeating myself. I should have just not posted anything until I searched for it myself.
@noir, part of the issue is players currently posting the codes of inactive players. It would be nice if ICM had a separate section for those. (The player posting them would post them in the correct section.) That way people that wanted to punch them could, but they could be easily avoided by those that didn't want to punch them.

I would suggest to keep all custom codes (Alpha and Numerical) as they are, and purge all other regular inactive codes! Its quite simple to do, announce that EVERYONE have to create custom code within 30 days, or your account will be purged. Every day (almost), we get 5 free don points, so i dont see an issue to create custom invite code...

You are lucky to get 5 free points nearly every day. If I am lucky I get 5 free points every two or three weeks. So I think your idea will be unfair to some people.

25 DP is not a waste, first of all you get custome code, which shows that you are at least active player + alot easier to punch, gives more confidence that your invite will be accepted, unlike punching codes from 2010 like OHNO7645 which most likely will never be accepted...
50 DP is = 3$ ... Have you thought how much money you "waste" on chewing gum? Cigs? Petrol? Etc...
Maybe I have a different vision... -

TW is a free game with option to buy advantages. You seem to want to make it free for 30 days only.

And I dont want to make free ONLY for 30 days.
I either wrote it wrong or you read it wrong between lines.
I just would like to waste less time punching inactive codes, thats all. If you have any better suggestions, please be kind to post them. -
I agree with clearing out the inactive codes. I was just pointing out that not everybody gets the free points regularly. Sometimes when you do eventually get the chance to download a program the points are not awarded, so it is even worse.
-
Many of us with very old custom codes purchased them. This was when free don points didn't exist except for when you leveled up.
It seems like it could be complicated for them to have to monitor whether players were active or inactive, delete a player's code if he/she became inactive, then assign a new code if the player became active again. I don't know if they'd even want players without codes.
-
If you don't punch codes accept you mob will be small 😂
I'm upto 80/90k codes thus far why should people have it easier if I had not stopped for four months I'd not be far off the leaderboard 👍
-
This is still a well thought out and valid suggestion. Everyone benefits evenly and it saves a lot of people time plus frees up codes for people who are around and will still stick money into the game unlike the inactives. They already expire invites sent and take them off search. Don't see a legit problem with this.
